Label your Samsung NVMe Driver CD for Windows 7 64-bit OS
This driver CD is critical.
Windows 7 is an old operating system. It has no clue how to deal with a Samsung NVMe internal SSD. While your ASUS X99-AII Motherboard readily recognizes the Samsung 950 PRO M.2 Internal SSD, Windows 7 will not be able to see it, as it lacks the drivers to negotiate an NVMe device.
You would need to add this Driver during the Window 7 installation process.
Note: This step is not required if you are installing Windows 10. It already has the necessary drivers.
