Summary

The Enhanced Search Widget lets you find features by entering the value of an item or by drawing a shape on the map.

The Layer you are searching does not have to be turned on or be within the visible scale threshold.

Unlike the Identify Widget, the Enhanced Search Widget is not tied to the Layer List Widget.

You can enter Null Values or leave a field empty while searching for a feature by value.
When searching for a Parcel Number, you must enter the value in the following format:

Book-Map-Item

Example: 211-67-062E

When searching for a Parcel by Owner Name, you must enter the Last Name followed by the First Name or First Initial. The case does not matter.

Examples:
CAFFARELLA JOSEPH
CAFFARELLA J
caffarella joseph

You may download your search results as a CSV file that can be viewed in Excel.
There is a limit of 1000 results that can be returned.

While selecting features by drawing a shape, you can optionally add a buffer distance.
You can enable multi-part graphics if you wish to draw more than one shape.
You cannot mix and match the point, line and area drawing tools.

Remember to deactivate the drawing tools before attempting to pan the map.

You can add or remove features from the current selection.

Once you have one or more features selected, you can run the Spatial Tools on them.
Optionally, you can generate a buffer around your selected features.

You have three spatial tools.
You can find features that are entirely within, intersects, or touches the buffer or the selection.
